From Tim Langley โ Candidate for Greenville City Council, District 3
As the former Animal Protective Services Supervisor for the Greenville Police Department, Iโve seen firsthand the dedication, compassion, and strength it takes to protect the voiceless among us โ our animals.
Greenville Animal Protective Services Officers work tirelessly, often behind the scenes and without recognition, to enforce animal welfare laws and ensure no animal suffers in silence. Whether itโs rescuing a pet from a hot car, responding to reports of neglect, or educating the public, these officers are the frontline defenders of animals in our city.
๐จ If you see an animal in distress โ no water, no shelter, chained up in the heat, or left in a hot car โ donโt hesitate:
๐ Call Greenville Police at (252) 329-4315 or dial 911. An APS Officer will respond.
These officers are the voice for those who cannot speak. So next time you see one out in the community, take a moment to say โthank you.โ Your appreciation goes a long way.
Letโs honor and support the men and women of Greenville APS โ they make our city safer and more humane for all. ๐ถ๐ฑโค๏ธ
